This was my first sunrise session in D.C. and it totally changed my perspective on shooting in D.C.! Going into this shoot, I expected that there would be flocks of photographers fighting for shots and people cluttering the backgrounds. But to my surprise, it was empty, quiet, and so so beautiful! (so worth the early wake up call!)
Alana and Tim actually live in Ohio, but were coming into D.C. for the cherry blossoms and contacted me to get their engagement photos done and I’m so glad they did. These two were two of the sweetest and funniest people, andI had the best time photographing them! Not to mention, they had the best style (like seriously a dream!) They opted to extend their session and do 3 outfits and 3 locations and I love how we were able to get so many diverse looks within one session!
