So many favorites from this one! We kicked off this sunrise engagement session together at the DC War Memorial, finished up with a champagne toast and then walked over to the Lincoln Memorial for an epic finish.
Want to know something? Years ago, I used to shy away from shoots at the monuments because it felt overdone and oftentimes cheesy. Little did I know I would fall in love with the empty mall at sunrise, the way the light reflects so beautifully off the white walls, and quiet moments in the nations capital with my couples getting to capture their love in an authentic and real way.
Chris and Leah were so joy-filled and down to earth and I loved every minute of getting to capture their love. They, like many, had to postpone their big wedding this year, but they decided to still tie the knot in April in DC and I can’t wait to capture all the special moments of their wedding day.
If you had to pick only one monument to take your engagement photos at – which one would it be? Leave me a comment below!
