Not only is the Blair House is steeped in rich history, but it’s also a place that’s near and dear to these two, so it was the upmost honor to get the opportunity to capture Claire & Nico’s Blair House engagement session! If you’ve never heard of it, The Blair House holds a special place in American history, serving as the official guest residence of the President of the United States. While it’s not open to the public, it has hosted countless dignitaries, presidents, and foreign leaders over the years and so many significant events have unfolded, and important decisions have been made here.
It was a must to include their fur baby, so we first took few photos with their pup, Bruno outside! As we made our way inside and wandered through the many halls and rooms of the Blair House, Claire and Nico’s love story came to life against the backdrop of grandeur. Each room held its own unique charm and story, and we took advantage of the stunning architecture and elegant decor to capture their connection. They wanted a little bit of timeless and classic, but also the flair of some fun, romantic flash photos – so I had to bring all the vibes! The staff at the Blair house even brought them some champagne in the official presidential champagne flutes which was such a fun and memorable touch.
