One of the biggest honors of this job is when clients come back year after year for me to document their milestones. These two are prime examples of that and have become such dear friends over the past 7 years! This year’s anniversary session was extra special because it was their first one as a MARRIED couple :’) See their wedding here. Always one of the highlights of my year is always getting to run around and document their love – it’s effortless and magical. And I always leave my time with them reminded why I do what I do!
It was a cloudy, humid summer evening when we started, but then the clouds parted for us and gave us the most gorgeous, soft golden light. I couldn’t get enough! Just goes to show you never know what are going to end up being the most beautiful nights. Manassas Battlefield is still one of my go-to’s for open field locations after so many years, due to it’s simple beauty and ease, that lets your love shine.
