10 Gifts for the Photographer in Your Life

The holidays are rapidly approaching and if you’re like me, you might still be on the hunt for many gifts for your family and friends this year. As a photographer myself, I am sharing 10 ideas for gifts the photographer in your life will certainly love:

1. Hydroflask

When you’re out shooting, it’s so important to stay hydrated so a solid water bottle is necessary and such a good and useful gift! This is my favorite one for when I am on the go.

2. Candles

I will always always always have a candle burning while I am working from home! Although these may not be the cutest looking candles, these are my favorites by far. The long burn time and the large scent variety makes them such a great gift and Balsam and Cedar is one of my favorite winter scents.

3. Ember Coffee Mug

Most photographers drink lots of coffee, especially during those late nights spent by the computer editing! I hate when my coffee gets cold, so these Ember mugs are a game changer for working long hours with piping hot coffee ready for you at all times.

4. Barefoot Dreams Blanket

Firm believer that you can never have too many cozy blankets, especially when you’re working most days from home! This barefoot dreams blanket is definitely on my list this year, and for good reason. It’s ultimate cozy!

5. SD cards

We need so many of these throughout the year, so SD cards are a perfect, useful stocking stuffer to gift the photographers in your life. These are my favorites and have been reliable for me for years!

6. a Cozy Loungewear Set

You can’t go wrong with a cozy, loungewear set. I am always looking for cozy comfortable outfits that I can work at home in, while still feeling put together and cute and this is currently top of my list!

7. Noise Cancelling Headphones

A nice pair of noise cancelling headphones are so incredibly useful and such a great gift for photographers, especially if the photographer in your life travels! I used these while working during multiple long flights to weddings and shoots and love them.

8. Self Care Gifts

As a business owner and especially as a photographer, by the time December rolls around we are definitely in need of self care after such a busy year and lots to do to wrap everything up before the new year. I am currently loving this lip mask, but I am sure any self-care type gift will be appreciated!

9. AirTags

I was gifted AirTags last year, along with these cute leather tags, and they were one of my favorite stocking stuffer gifts. I put these in my gear bags in case they ever get stolen or forgotten somewhere, and also with my keys and wallet so I can easily locate them even if I am running late to a session!

10. A Coffee Table Book of Inspiring Imagery

Coffee table books are one of those things that I love to have, but don’t like buying for myself. One of my favorite photography related ones is the Perfect Imperfect by John Dolan, and it’s truly a work of art.
